I wish to trade this NIB / MINT SIG Ryan STA kit
for a similar SIG Russian YAK 18PM kit which SIG produced in the late 1960s,
early 1970s, this was designed by the late Claude McCullough for SIG, this SIG
YAK 18PM kit also has a wingspan of 72", do not wish to trade for any JUNK
please.
If anyone has the decal sheet from the SIG YAK 18PM
kit, I'd like to color copy this decal sheet please, am especially interested in
the Union of Soviet Aero Club logo / insignia which appears on
this SIG YAK 18PM kit decal sheet.

Tri County
Aero met Thursday evening August 19 at 7:30 \P.M. at the Y.M.C.A. annex. There
were 14 members present. They were :Ken Wilson,
Frank Roales, Francis Murphy, Dick Brown, Pete Peterson, Bill McGavic, Scott
Wilson, Steve Stoll, Tony Bouillet, Larry Knepp, Ben Wagler, Lester
Wagler, Joe Cary, and Tom Calvert. President Steve S. opened the meeting with
the reading of last months minutes and financial report. Frank R. mentioned the
September 11 and 12 Warbird display and reenactment at the IndianaMilitaryMuseum. We
should bring our aircraft there at 7:00 A.M. Saturday morning (VT) Only
bona fide WW2 aircraft may be displayed. This includes trainers and reconnaissance
aircraft also. The "Watermelon Festival" was a good success. The
model simulator was in constant use. There were several spectators at the
O'neal flying site, but no one wanted to fly the "buddy-box"
system. They just wanted to watch. Only club members flew. We will try the same
system for next years event. There were some good new ideas made to help
enhance next years event. The "TRI FLY" was a very big success. There
were 21 pilots to start the flying session at the Vincennes field. There were no less than 14
pilots at the Washington and Odon sites. The club voted to fund the expenses.
We will conduct this event for 2011. Scott Wilson gave a short talk about a 46%
model and a full size "Pitts" biplane crashing into each other. No
one was hurt, but much damage occurred. He mentioned and cautioned that we need
to keep our eyes skyward at our flying sites too. We want to thank Bobby
Klien for helping other club members find a lost/downed model in a field on a
very hot day. He put his full size in the air and spotted the model for the
group. Ken Wilson will host a 2nd annual Control Line Fly-in at the O'neal site
on October 9. Time will be from noon 'til 5 P.M. (VT). We want to congratulate
member Roy Stewart for his 1st and 3rd wins at the 2010 AMA Nats. Bill McGavic,
Steve Stoll, and Scott Wilson are in the planning stages for a
"Warbird" contest for 2011. Pete Peterson made a motion that was passed after discussion to continue to furnish AMA liability insurance for the Washington,
Odon and Vincennes
flying sites. The Vincennes/O'neal site will be designated home field and TCA
will furnish maintenance for this site only. Roberts Rules of Order were voted
to be TCA operating system/rules for all meetings. Next meeting will be
September 16 at 7:30P.M. (VI) at the Y.M.C.A. See you there. Tom Calvert
